It was good to hear strong signals on the 48 metre band this afternoon, but the band is still closing for short skip before dark. Whether this will change, we shall see in the next few weeks.

Rode Adelaar goes quiet
Sad news that Rode Adelaar (Red Eagle), a well-known free radio station from the Netherlands on the 48 metre band has been sent a warning letter from the AT (Dutch Radio regulation agency) and is going to be off the air for some time: swcholland.com/?n=344
